0:25.9	We're going to talk about deep self-care, inner self-care.
0:30.6	So much of the self-care we see sold to us everywhere is just about the care of our outer
0:36.2	shell, right?
0:37.9	It's self-care as manicures and skin cream and massage and all of that.
0:43.3	And I happen to love all that stuff.
0:45.7	That's not the self-care we're talking about today because that kind of self-care, it's
0:51.0	like if the only way we ever cared for our car was to shine the hood, right?
1:00.8	There's a whole other self we have that is on the inside, that we ignore so often.
1:07.2	And often the kind of self-care we're sold, which is just about the outer shell, is really
1:12.0	more about other people's experience of us, instead of our own experience in our own
1:18.8	body, right?
1:19.8	A lot of that kind of outer shell self-care feels more like meeting the world's needs for
1:24.2	us than meeting our own needs.
1:27.2	Okay, so today we're not talking about grooming or appearance maintenance.
1:32.0	We're talking about getting beneath the hood because there isn't inside of us that needs
1:37.7	care.
1:39.4	For many of us that desperately needs care.
