Summary

The cultural and political changes in 2020 and what’s coming ahead of us could have negative consequences on the future unless parents rise to the occasion and teach their children how to respond biblically. Last week we discussed masks, the lack of churches meeting, and the challenges in not having a strong community. This week we dive into the other five challenges: mindset on career paths, standing for truth sharing conservative and biblical opinions, too much digital, lack of belief in the US electoral process, and the costs of a decrease in the value of freedom by people around them. The Tolpins are sharing their proactive thinking process so that you too, can respond to today’s challenges so your kids don’t experience those future negative outcomes.

0:51.8	So last week we hit some really hard topics. We talked about fear in regards to COVID and
0:59.1	everything that's going on in the world today. We did dig into masks a little bit and how they
1:05.2	are going to potentially impact your children negatively in the future. We dug into a lot of
1:13.9	different scriptures in those as well. One of the big highlights was social awkwardness. How masks
1:20.0	are going to potentially make that worse if you didn't listen to that. So you got to go back
1:24.0	and listen to that. We also talked about church. How people are not attending church not being an
1:29.7	active part of the body of Christ, exercising their gifts, not meeting together. We talked about
1:35.0	the challenge and how that's going to impact your children and we talked about community, the
1:38.6	importance of community, whether that's friends and family. All under two main questions which we're
1:43.3	going to ask again today, which is are you asking the hard questions of yourselves introspectively?
1:50.8	How you're handling these things? Are you handling them biblically? And thinking ahead about the
1:55.8	result and consequences that our kids will experience based upon how we handle these issues.
