Bjorn Brunvand is a criminal defense lawyer who is largely known for a case where he acquitted a Ukrainian ship captain and 14 crew members accused of smuggling 3.5 tons ($1 Billion worth) of cocaine from Columbia. Bjorn has also been involved in a large number of capital murder trials including that of Oscar Ray Bolin, who was convicted of 3 murders, and sentenced to the death penalty after spending 20 years on death row in Florida State Prison. Criminal Defense lawyer, primarily in the Tampa Bay area, but doing business all over the

United States and wherever the cases take me. I've been doing it for about 30 years.

Wow. And then how did you, how did you start earlier start or like where did you, how did you originally get interested in

So it was probably about 14 and I'd just been to a movie with a buddy of mine.

And it was about a trial lawyer.

I can't remember what the movie was.

It was back in Norway.

I said, well, that looks like a cool thing to do for a living.
