But there is a group of swimmers now that are going to start at the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald and swim

the 411 miles it takes to get to Detroit, which is where it was supposed to go with their

load of iron ore 26-90.

So somebody's going to drop them off in the middle of the lake?

Well, they're going to start from the wreck site.

Okay.

And then swim their way to Detroit in 17 different stages.

So it's a relay, four swimmers, a team, and they swim for 30 minutes at a time.
