Do you know what the devil's favorite weapon is?

Think about it for a moment.

Can you picture it?

It might surprise you.

I'm firmly convinced that the devil's favorite weapon is lies.

Think back to the Garden of Eden. That's how he got Eve is with a lie, a half-truth. And think about how he tempted Jesus in the wilderness. It was still

taking scripture and twisting it into half-truths, charging at him with lies.

So it's no surprise that when we are told to put on the armor of God, the very first piece,

it has to do with confronting the lies of the enemy.

In this season, we're putting on the armor of God.

Today, specifically, we're putting on the belt of truth.

So take a deep breath and quiet your heart as we become aware of God's loving presence around us and within us.

Today's passage comes from Ephesians chapter 6, verse 14.

Stand firm then with a belt of truth buckled around your waist let's begin by

reciting god's goodness lord jesus you are truth you came from heaven to earth full of grace and truth. Every single word you said is true. And you define reality itself because you are the word of God. Truth spoken to the world. Thank you that you've given us generous access to yourself and to discern truth from lies through scriptures.

Thank you that you don't leave us empty-handed in this battle against the enemy.

You've given us weapons infused with divine power to demolish

the enemy's strongholds. Jesus, thank you that you have given us yourself. And when we put on the

build of truth, we are putting on your own personhood, Jesus, for you are truth itself.

So take a moment now to praise King Jesus for how he has shown his truth in your life. I'm I'm I'm
