Have you ever had that terrible dream where you're in a public place and you're in your underwear?

I have, and it's terrifying because none of us in our right mind would wake up and forget to put clothes on.

But every day we do that spiritually. We forget to

put on our spiritual clothing. We forget to put on the armor of God. Every day we are stepping

out into the world unprepared, unclosed, to engage in the spiritual warfare that's happening.

So today, I invite you, will you put on the armor of God so that you might stand your ground

in today's battle?

I'm your host, Ashrida Chuchu, and the season we are putting on the armor of God.

Today, specifically, that's what we're doing.

We're reminding ourselves of the importance of the full armor of God. So I invite you to take a deep breath and quiet your heart as we become aware of God's loving presence around us and within us.

Today's passage comes from Ephesians chapter 6, verse 13. Therefore, put on the full armor of God so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done

everything to stand.

Let's begin by reciting God's goodness.

Oh God, you are the all-sufficient king.

Everything we need is found in you, and you are the one who generously provides not just what we need, but more than we could ask for or imagine.

You do not send us into battle and prepared.

For you, Jesus, yourself, resisted the enemy's temptations in the wilderness.

And in every day beyond that, on your earthly ministry, you know what it is like to be tempted

and tried and tested and engage in spiritual warfare, and you did it without sin. You did it without failure. And so you are the one who is able

to help us stand our ground in your victory today. Thank you, Jesus, for giving us your own armor.

How very generous you are. So take a moment now to praise God for providing for your knees. Even in
