There are times when I'm reading a novel and there's a battle scene that is just so intense,

or there's a season for the protagonist that is just so hopeless, that part of me wants to

skip forward to the end and just make sure, like, is everyone going to be okay?

And I wonder sometimes if we wish we had the end of our story in the midst of the heart

that we're going through, in the midst of the very real spiritual warfare that we are a part of,

the truth is we do have the end of the story. And it gives us great hope.

Welcome to the Prayers of Rest podcast. I'm your host Ashrida Chuchu, and this season we have been

putting on the armor of God. And today we wrap up by celebrating the final victory of Jesus and his bride.

So take a deep breath and quiet your heart as we become aware of God's loving presence around us and within us.

Today's passages come from Revelation chapter 12 and 19.

And I heard a loud voice in heaven saying,

Now the salvation and the power in the kingdom of our God

and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers

has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God, and they have conquered

him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their

lives even unto death. Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell

in them. And then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many

waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder crying out hallelujah for the

Lord our God the Almighty reigns let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory

for the marriage of the Lamb has come and his bride has made herself ready.

It was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure.

For the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.
