House has a new speaker, Mike Johnson of Louisiana. Johnson swept through on the first

ballet with support from all Republicans, this coming after the historic ouster of Kevin

McCarthy.

Johnson got the house back to work immediately, and adopted a resolution to stand by Israel.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer barely knows the new speaker.

I look forward to sitting down with speaker Johnson to discuss the path forward to avoid

a government shutdown.

The eight Republicans who helped remove McCarthy did a victory lap.

So a new speaker, but the same members, that means Johnson could face the same problem.

It's about the math.
