A change of plans, I'm Lee Silicera, Fox News, President Biden is cutting short as trip

to the Middle East after the blast at a hospital in Kansas City that killed hundreds.

The president is flying the Tel Aviv for meetings with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

a show of support the White House says for the U.S.-Israeli alliance.

But President Biden is no longer traveling to a man, Jordan, for a summit with regional

leaders, including Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.

President Biden says he sends his deepest condolences for the innocent lives lost in a hospital

explosion in Gaza.

Hamas says the hospital was targeted by an Israeli air strike.

Israel's defense forces say the explosion occurred after a failed rocket launch by the

terror group Palestinian Islamic Shihad.

Fox is Jared Halpern at the White House.

French President Emmanuel Macron has condemned the attack on the hospital in Gaza, writing

on ex-formerly Twitter, all the light must be shed on the circumstances.

The House will try again tomorrow to vote on a speaker after Judiciary Committee chaired

Jim Jordan failed to get enough support today.

Came up short by 17 votes earlier today, 20 GOP members voted for someone besides Jordan.

This is the spectacle the GOP wanted to avoid taking multiple votes for speaker.
