An acknowledgement from President Trump.

I'm Lisa Lacerra, Fox News, admitting he authorizes CIA operation in Venezuela.

After several strikes targeting suspected drug running boats in the Caribbean, President Trump says,

We're going to stop them by land also.

The president also acknowledged reports that he's authorized covert CIA operations inside

Venezuela.

I think Venezuela is feeling heat, but I think a lot of other countries are feeling heat, too.

President Trump repeatedly accuses Venezuela's government of emptying jails and mental institutions

to take advantage of what he calls an open border policy during previous administrations.

Lawmakers on Capitol Hill have questioned the legal authority and intelligence to justify military

airstrikes on the suspected drug cartel vessels.

Yesterday, the president said the U.S. struck another vote accused of carrying drugs off

Venezuela's coast killing six people. Hamas says it will honor the deal to return the remains of

hostages from Gaza as Israel has expressed anger over their pace of returns. Today the bodies of

more hostages were returned to Israel. Hamas says it has now returned all the hostage bodies it can find,

leaving significant questions over the fate of at least 19 others. The Israeli military says

the International Red Cross received the latest two remains on Wednesday. Just hours after the

IDF said one of the eight bodies previously turned over was not a hostage.

Fox is Carmen Roberts. Today, President Trump told reporters no U.S. troops will go into Gaza once phase two of the peace deal is ready to be implemented.
