My hopes for the peace plan. I'm Carmen Roberts. Fox News. The Gaza ceasefire held for a second day as tens of thousands of Palestinians returned to their neighborhoods. And Israelis cheered Monday's expected release of the remaining hostages. President Trump leaves tomorrow for the Middle East where he is expected to attend the official peace deal signing

ceremony. Fox says Madeline Rivera has details from the White House. The president is credited with

placing maximum pressure on Israel and Hamas from playing hardball with Israeli Prime Minister

Benjamin Netanyahu to threatening Hamas with devastation if they did not agree to a deal.

The president says he foresees wealthy Arab nations helping with Gaza's reconstruction.

Under the plan, a so-called Board of Peace would be overseeing the transitional Palestinian government

with the president serving as the board's chair.

The president indicating he wants to focus on part one of the peace deal, this initial ceasefire,

before looking to part two. About 200 U.S. troops have arrived in Israel to monitor the ceasefire

with Hamas. As part of their duties, they will set up a center to facilitate the flow of

humanitarian aid into Gaza. A spokesman confirms former President Biden is undergoing a new

phase of cancer treatment.

Biden has prostate cancer and doctors are giving him radiation therapy and hormone treatment.

The radiation is supposed to last for five weeks and his hormone treatment consists of pills.

Biden is 82 and his prognosis has not been made public. Doctors diagnosed his cancer

in May. The 46th president is no stranger to malignancies. Last month, Biden had surgery for

skin cancer. Roger Stern, Fox News. And an appeals court rules, National Guard troops sent to Illinois

can stay there, but they cannot be deployed at least for now.
