A long battle in the mid-East, Timeline Maloney Fox News, after a surprise attack on Israel

This is something that could take months to resolve.

And the conflict, unfortunately, is just beginning.

It's a war that Israel did not ask for, but Israel must now fight, according to the

country's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin says the U.S. is moving warships and aircraft closer to

the conflict.

The USS Gerald Ford carrier strike group is going to the Eastern Mediterranean.

It includes aircraft carrier, the Ford Ticonderoga class guided missile cruiser, the USS Normandy,

as well as other guided missile destroyers.

That's heading to the region.
