That statement from Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas referring to the additional

border wall that's being built in Texas.

From day one, this administration is made clear that a border wall is not the answer.

That remains our position and our position has never wavered.

Mayorkas with the comments in Mexico City where he and other key Biden administration officials

are discussing migration with their Mexican counterparts.

Mayorkas said the section of barrier that's being built had been called for as part of

a congressional funding package in 2019.

And the administration is also announced it will resume deportations of Venezuela nationals

across into the U.S. illegally and don't establish a legal basis to stay.

Hundreds of mourners paid their respects today to Senator Diane Feinstein who died last
