Start warning from President Biden, I'm Lee Silicera, Fox News, with four days to go

before a government shutdown could kick in President Biden, urging lawmakers to come

to a deal.

After a meeting in San Francisco with science and tech advisors, the president told reporters,

if we have a government shutdown, a lot of vital work in science and health could be

impacted from cancer research to first safety.

He went on to urge Republicans in the House to do their job and fund the government.

The president was also asked if a shutdown was inevitable.

He replied nothing in politics is inevitable.

Earlier this week, the president also said a shutdown would mean nearly seven million

low-income women and children would see a sudden loss of food benefits.

There have also been warnings that a shutdown would mean military members won't get paid,

and there'd be a disruption of air travel.

The federal judge presiding over former president Trump's election into fear and

case in Washington, D.C. says she won't recuse herself from the case.

Judge Tanya Chukin said in her written decision she sees no reason to step aside.

The case scheduled for a March trial accuses Trump of illegally scheming to overturn his

election laws to now President Biden.
