President Trump canceled talks with Democrats scheduled for this week because he says their demands were unreasonable.

If no deal is reached, the shutdown kicks in October 1st.

The Supreme Court has extended in order that

allows the Trump administration to keep frozen nearly $5 billion in foreign aid. The Justice

Department had sought the emergency appeal after a lower court judge ruled the action to halt

the funding was likely illegal. President Trump says an end to the war in Gaza is near.

The president says he thinks there is a deal to end the fighting in Gaza between Israel and

Hamas. I think it's a deal that will get the hostages back. It's going to be a deal that will

end the war. It's going to be a deal with, it's going to be peace. I think we have a deal.
