Patrol says over 11,000 migrants have crossed the southern border in the last 24 hours

alone.

More than 2,200 cross through here in the last 24 hours, just an eagle pass was a dramatic

morning because they built up along the river bank and they had to go through the razor

wire that the state of Texas put there.

I got so hot out here and the numbers were swelling so high that the Border Patrol

had to cut the wire to let them through.

Women and children even had to be taken in a boat to the bridge here where they'll

be processed.

Fox's Chris Jenkins, an eagle pass, Texas Governor Greg Abbott has sent busloads of migrants

to New York.

Governor Kathy Hocal says 150 more members of the National Guard will be utilized to assist

managing the migrants.

It brings our total to 2,200 National Guard members supporting the overall mission.

And what this will allow us to do, 250 National Guard members will focus solely on case management.

Hocal says the state is assisting New York City and dealing with migrants as Mayor Eric

Adams says the city needs help with the high cost of housing them.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy criticizing far right members of his own party at the clock

I would they want to stop paying the troops or stop paying the border agents or the Coast Guard.
