Getting back to work, I'm Kevin Yreski Fox News. The US Senate returns to Capitol Hill

this week after the August recess with much to do.

Priority one for lawmakers is keeping the government open and increasingly the likelihood

appears to be using a short term continuing resolution. Current funding expires at the end

of this month giving Congress only a few weeks to prevent a government shutdown. President

Biden is asking Congress to also approve supplemental funding for FEMA, the border and

Ukraine assistance. Fox's Jared Halper and some Republicans have come out against additional

and continued funding to support the Ukrainians. The president's spending a portion of his

Labor Day in Pennsylvania talking to sheet metal workers where he told them they're the key

to what he considers to be his administration's economic successes.

Law is inflation rate among any major economy. 13.5 million new jobs and there's no one reason

for it. It's not because of me, a little part of our products have helped. Not to just the

Democratic Party, it's you. Meanwhile, the surge continues. We're an escaped inmate in Pennsylvania.

Local state and federal resources are being used to find Denelo Cavalcante. He escaped the

Chester County prison last week, but state police lieutenant Colonel George Bivens doesn't think

he's gone outside a two mile wooded area. There have been four sightings within that boundary.

Cavalcante was convicted for murdering his girlfriend in 2021. Fox's Grinnell Scott, he's

the second inmate to escape in that area over the last couple of months. And the driving ban has

been lifted at the burning man event in northern Nevada, where torrential rains made roads

impassable over the weekend, stranding thousands still burning man organizers say that they will

still conduct the annual burning of a giant wooden man tonight at 9 p.m. local time. Fox
