CENTCOM says the U.S. hit Iranian military command centers and launching sites for Iranian missiles and drones.

Iran at the same time continues to attack U.S. partners in the region,

launching strikes against Kuwait and Bahrain today while continuing to project defiance.

British military officials said Monday evening a second ship had been attacked in the Strait of Hormuz,

this one off the coast of the United Arab Emirates. Earlier, a vessel caught fire in the Strait of Hormuz after being hit by a projectile

near the coastline of Amman.

A former U.S. soldier in federal custody in New York City after authorities say he started a fire

and fired a pellet gun in front of a building in Lower Manhattan that houses an immigration court.

FBI special agent in charge James Barnacle says Andrew Arabeca was looking to injure people.

He did say he was targeting the building and he was okay if he hurt or killed people going in and out of the building,

whether they were federal employees or civilians.

Three people, including a security guard who tackled Arabeca had minor injuries.

An immigrant who was there to attend court was also injured.
