President Biden said to begin a news conference shortly

following the NATO summit in Washington

as calls grow for him to abandon his re-election bid.

At least 14 Democrats have publicly called on him to step aside.

Foxes told the meeting between Senate Democrats and Biden officials was just a fancy

campaign pitch. It lacked campaign data. and it

failed to ease worries,

even among the president's most ardent supporters.

Senator Peter Welch from Vermont is the only Senate Democrat demanding

President Biden. Step aside. House Minority Leader hakem Jeffries said that

problems with the president will not keep Democrats from winning the house.
