Fox News has learned that an accused leader of the MS-13 gang has been arrested in Nebraska.

Ice agents picked up Melvin, Varela Perez, in Omaha, Nebraska this week.

A man described as an MS-13 kingpin who's been on El Salvador's 100

most wanted list since 2016. He's wanted for five murders. The officials say he crossed the

border and was released into the continental United States during the Biden administration.

Sources tell Fox that Perez was arrested alongside an associate named Escobar Ochoa, who had a notice from Interpol out on him when he entered the United States.

Fox is David Spunt at the Justice Department of federal judge in New Hampshire as paused President Trump's executive order ending birthright citizenship nationwide and is certified a class action lawsuit, including all

children who will be affected.

Mahmoud Khalil, the Columbia University grad student and pro-Palestinian activists freed from

ICE detention last month, has found the $20 million lawsuit against the Trump administration

claiming false imprisonment and malicious prosecution.

A spokesman for the Department of Homeland Security called the claims absurd.

More than 2,000 responders from state, local, and federal agencies on the ground in the water

and in the air in the Texas Hill country after last weekend's flooding.

More than 170 people are still missing. At least

120 have died, including local soccer coach Reese Sunker and his wife Paula. He cared about the

kids and the kids knew it. Governor Greg Abbott will push for early warning systems and stronger

storm communications in a special legislative session this month.
