You know Putin won't stop in Ukraine, but make no mistake. Ukraine can and will stop Putin.

President Biden as he addressed NATO leaders at a celebration of the alliance's 75th anniversary in Washington,

announcing more weaponry is headed to Kyiv. The United States,

States, Germany, the Netherlands, Romania, and Italy

will provide Ukraine with the equipment

for five additional strategic air defense systems.

And in the coming months the United States and our partners intend to provide Ukraine

with dozens of additional tactical air defense systems. At least four of them, the powerful Patriot systems that Ukraine has been desperately

seeking, held battle against Russian advances.

Ukraine's president, Vladimir Salensky, said in a social media post earlier today that air defenses remain a key

request he has repeatedly asked for more Patriot systems. The State Department says there

will be more announcements about security assistance for Ukraine during the course of the

NATO summit. The address coming as a handful of Democrats have publicly called

for the president to abandon his re-election campaign though most of the party is sticking by him.

Democrats say they are unified behind President Biden because they need to beat

former President Trump. But many of their arguments are more against Mr. Trump and not for President Biden.
