A response to an attack on civilian ships. I'm Lisa Salisara. Fox News. U.S. Central Command

says it's launched a new round of strikes after Iran targeted three vessels in the Strait of four moves.

These were commercial ships as they are trying to get oil, natural gas out of that water from the Persian Gulf into the Gulf of

Oman. But the straight, of course, has been the center point for so much of what's happened since

early February, where President Trump said it was imperative that ships would be allowed to move

in and out of that area freely. Iran, of course, had contested that saying that they were going to

be the ones deciding who was going to be able to move through that waterway. Fox is Mark Meredith in Ankara, Turkey. One of the tankers

hit was from Qatar, which called Iran's attack in the strait a violation of international law.

President Trump now in Turkey for NATO summit as he continues to push the alliance to pay more

for security. President Trump's been clear for many,

many years that we need to see Europe step up when it comes to burden sharing our NATO allies

increasing their defense spending. Thinking back to the last NATO summit with President Trump,

you had that historic commitment to 5% of GDP on defense spending. Now it's about living through on

spokesman Tommy Pickett. The president has long criticized some NATO countries for not paying what he

says is their fair share and in the past has threatened to leave the alliance. A preliminary hearing

continued today for Tyler Robinson. The man accused of killing Charlie Kirk last September

as the judge rules on whether a letter written by Kirk is admissible as evidence.

The judge ruled that this letter is admissible. It's not being published right now.
