Iran strikes back. I'm John Sosier Fox News. The United States is reportedly helping Israel shoot down retaliatory strikes from Iran.

We go to the Pentagon to get more from Fox's Jennifer Griffin.

We've been able to confirm with our own U.S. official sources that the U.S. military, the U.S. intelligence community,, in fact, helping the Israelis defend itself from

these incoming waves of Iranian ballistic missiles. We have been reporting that there are two

U.S. Navy destroyers in the eastern Mediterranean, the U.S.S. Rale-Birk, as well as the U.S.

Sullivan's in October, they were involved in shooting down two dozen Iranian

ballistic missiles. Source is telling Fox that there's been no indication of the United States

has been involved in any offensive operations against Iran or its nuclear program. Homeland Security

has released details about four illegal aliens who escaped a New Jersey detention facility. Here's Fox's

Jessica Rosenthal with more. Homeland Security says four illegal aliens escaped the Delaney

Hall detention facility. Three of the four entered the U.S. during the Biden administration.

The other came in 2019 as a minor. He is from Honduras and was arrested for illegal gun possession.

Another man from Honduras was arrested for aggravated assault and terroristic threats, among other charges.

The other two were both from Colombia.

One was arrested for burglary and theft.

The other for larceny and burglary as well.

Homeland Security says they are all public safety threats,

but the contrary to some reporting, there's been no unrest among others being held at the Delaney facility.
