This is a Fox News alert. Iran attacks Israel for the first time since the April ceasefire.

Four waves of Iranian ballistic missiles targeted Israel tonight in response to the IDF strikes on Hezbollah in southern Beirut earlier today.

Fox has tried Yankist reporting from Tel Aviv, where he watched Iranian missiles

soar through the skies and says that he spoke to President Trump a short time ago.

The president told me it's certainly not going to help negotiation. The president indicated

that ultimately he felt things were very close to an agreement. He said Monday, Tuesday,

or Wednesday of this coming week. And now this.

He is holding consultations with his security team, I am told by a senior U.S. official.

And I asked the president about the Israeli strike on Hezbollah in Beirut earlier today.

He told me that was not coordinated with the United States and that he is not happy about it.

The region is now waiting to see if the

Israelis will respond to these waves of ballistic missiles that targeted their northern cities.

Tonight we can report that Iran's foreign minister is speaking with regional counterparts about the

situation. And President Trump is concerned Israel will retaliate against Iran and blow up a possible peace deal.

The manhunt in Ohio continues. Police are searching for shooters who opened fire at a summer festival in Toledo yesterday, entering 12 people too critically.

Police say two gunmen may have been shooting at each other when at least 16 shots rang out in a crowded

Summer Street Festival. There were several hundred people at that festival.
