over Washington, Maryland and Virginia.

The fire pilot say that they could see the Cessna pilot

and distress at the control.

Fighter jet pilots dispatched to intercept the O-faded Cessna,

reported seeing a person flying the passenger jet slumped

over in the cockpit.

The military pilots even attempted to alert the Cessna

via radio, asking the business planes pilot to make contact.

It's not clear how or why the pilot may have appeared

to become unresponsive.

The FAA and the NTSPR investigating the crash site

in a remote mountainous area in Virginia.

Evidence will be collected as well as the bodies

of the four victims to be taken to a medical examiner.

A definitive cause could take up to two years to discover.
