This is a Fox News alert. I'm Kathleen Maloney, breaking news out of Boulder, Colorado this hour.

Boulder police say they have a suspect in custody after an apparent targeted terror attack on Pearl Street in a pedestrian mall.

Police chief, Stephen Redfern.

This was a beautiful Sunday afternoon in downtown Boulder on Pearl Street.

And this act is unacceptable. Redfern says the suspect is an adult male. He also says the

injuries to the victims range from very serious to minor. FBI director Cash Patel says the agency

is aware of and fully investigating. No word yet on a motive. At least 80 shots were fired

at a North Carolina neighborhood in the city of Hickory where a house party was being held early today.

One person was killed, 11 injured. No arrests have been made, but authorities say there was more than

one shooter and over 70 people at the party. Major Aaron Turk with the Kataba County Sheriff's Office

says those attending the party were young adults.

We have identified some people that were here that were under the age of 21

in their teenage years and then persons in their 20s in order.

Turk says the crime scene spans about two acres.

Authorities searching for a former Arkansas police chief turned killer,

who is still on the run, nearly a week after he escaped from prison.

Grant Hardin escaped last Sunday, leaving many here wondering what on earth is taking so long.

Well, a spokesperson from the Department of Corrections

says they have received a lot of calls about possible tips, but nothing has led to anything

credible. One of the major problems was the weather. There was heavy rain when he first

escaped the first few days, making it difficult for canines to really pick up on his scent.

They also couldn't use helicopters or drones.
