We are going to be imposing a 25% increase.

We're going to bring it from 25% to 50% the tariffs on steel into the United States of America.

President Trump, with that announcement during a rally this evening with U.S. steel workers,

the president announcing a deal has been struck between the Pittsburgh company and Japan-based

Nippon's deal that will keep the company's headquarters in the U.S., though the details of the deal

have not been announced.

Meanwhile, the president claims China has violated the

terms of its tariff agreement, which reduced tariffs on goods from Beijing for 90 days.

It seems the president is very upset with what China has committed and the actions by the Chinese.

They violated a big part of the agreement we've made.

If you read that whole statement, it was very nice to them, I helped them because they were in trouble with the stoppage of a massive amount of business.

But I'm sure that I'll speak to President Xi, and hopefully we'll work that out.

So the Chinese embassy released a statement saying this.

Recently, China has repeatedly raised concerns with the U.S. regarding its abuse of export control measures in the semiconductor sector and other related practices.

The Trump administration believes China needs another push.
