University student whom the Trump administration wants to deport for its campus protest activities,

but did give him hope. Federal judge Michael Farbiars in New Jersey denied Mahmoud Khalil's request

for a preliminary injunction, but not because Secretary of State Marco Rubio says Khalil's presence may have potentially serious adverse

foreign policy consequences. Farbiar said on that front, Khalil would likely succeed in court

that the secretary's reason for deporting him is likely unconstitutional. The judge denied

Khalil's request for a preliminary injunction, though, for failing to

disclose everything about his past when he filled out paperwork for permanent residency. The government

said Khalil, for example, did not disclose that he interned for UNR. The UN's relief works agency for

Palestinians, some members of which are accused terrorists. The judge is giving Kalil time to add to
