Treasury Secretary Scott Besson emerged from two days of talks with the Chinese with an optimistic tone.

President Trump has set the current tariff on imported Chinese goods at 145%

while China is charging 125% for U.S. goods being exported there.

The president cited progress in a truth social posting Saturday.

Ukrainian President Zelensky says he's ready to meet Russian President Putin for talks Thursday in Istanbul.

Zelensky also says Ukraine expects a full ceasefire to start on Monday to provide the necessary

basis for diplomacy to end the war.

And he says he's waiting for a response on that from Russia.

Putin has proposed restarting direct peace talks without preconditions. A hostage is expected to be

released by Hamas as President Trump visits the Middle East. Fox's great palcott in Tel Aviv with the

These new developments regarding the hostages held by Hamas were related to U.S. directed talks through other intermediary countries with Hamas.

The hostage, Edan Alexander, is believed to be the last American hostage held by Hamas.
