The record shutdown is over. I'm Lisa Lacerra, Fox News, after President Trump signed a bill that funds most of the Department of Homeland Security. The House passed the measure earlier today.

After sitting on it for weeks, the House passed the Senate DHS funding bill, which funds all of DHS except for ICE and CBP. Republicans will instead fund those

two agencies in a three-year budget reconciliation bill, which allows them to bypass Democrats.

President Trump wants that bill on his desk by June 1st.

Fox is Bill Belugent in Washington. The House also passed a 45-day extension of the Foreign

Intelligence Surveillance Act just hours before it's set to expire.

Other Democrats don't trust the Trump administration with FISA tool.

Federal prosecutors have released video showing the moment authorities say in our man

trying to storm the White House correspondence in her Saturday night in an attempt to kill President Trump.

U.S. Attorney Janine Piro says it shows Cole Allen shooting a secret service officer as he runs through a security gate packed with journalists, administration officials, and others.

The director says the officer who was shot, returned fire, though he did not hit the suspect.

Officials say shortly after 8.30 Saturday evening, Alan, knowing the president and First Lady were in the ballroom, approached security and ran through the magnetometer. Secret Service Director, Sean Curran, says the suspect was stopped after that checkpoint and defends the security plan, despite criticism over the hotel venue.

Fox says Davis-Bunton, Washington. Allen was in court today. He did not enter a plea and will

remain jailed for now while he awaits trial. Prosecutors have said they believe Alan fired the

shotgun at least once and that a Secret Service agent fired five shots. America is listening to Fox
