The estimate for Operation Epic Fury from the Pentagon's acting comptroller is about $25 billion.

Most of that is in munitions. There's part of that it's obviously O&M and equipment replacement.

He's testifying along with Secretary Pete Hegeseth and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Dan Cain, about the President's $1.5 trillion budget request for the Pentagon, the largest ever request, for the fence spending.

noting the FISA authority expires Thursday night.

We are where we are, and it is a binary choice, and allowing this authority to expire,

which I think we are close to, is not an option.

However, Senate Majority Leader John Thune has said because this bill comes with a ban

on central bank digital
