As Islamabad, Pakistan preps for the crucial negotiations,

the word we're seeing is that Vice President J.D. Vance will travel with the U.S. team for meetings now set for Wednesday.

After a lot of hemming and hawing, it seems that the Iranians will, most likely, join the talks as well.

Things have gotten more edgy since that U.S. Navy destroyer yesterday intercepted and took control of an Iranian flag cargo ship,

caught by the current naval blockade of Iran-linked shipping in the

Gulf using the Strait of Hormuz.
