Nicholas Maduro arrives in the U.S. I'm Angela Bavaro, Fox News. Venezuela's leader and his wife have

touched down in New York, set to face narco-terrorism charges after their overnight capture and arrest

in a daring military raid. The president says that the U.S. will be running Venezuela for an indefinite period of time.

He did not give a time frame for that. He did not also rule out boots on the ground.

The president indicating there's a U.S. interest in the country's oil as well, forecasting a future where he sees oil companies heading into Venezuela fixing the country's oil infrastructure.

Senator Tim Kaine is among the many Democrats questioning the operation's oil infrastructure. Senator Tim Kane is among the many Democrats

questioning the operation's legality. Yet the administration maintains they were right to capture

Maduro. A superseding indictment accuses him of leveraging government power to protect and

and the Senate is expected to debate the President's war powers in Venezuela next week.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Klein says over 150 aircraft were involved

in that U.S. military operation.

As the night began, the helicopters took off with the extraction

force, which included law enforcement officers, and began their flight into Venezuela at 100 feet

above the water. Assure, the CIA had been tracking Maduro for about a month. His movements

Stealth fighter jets F-22s and F-35s destroyed Venezuela's air defense systems joined by strike fighters from the aircraft carrier Gerald R. Ford including electronic warfare jets to fry Venezuela's radars

U.S. Cyber Command and the CIA turned off the lights.

Fox's Lucas Tomlinson, General Kane, says two U.S. military members were injured in that

operation and all aircraft made it back.
