Thank you so much for listening. Thank you for supporting me. And today, I was thinking about this in the car with my fiancee doing what I do best, which is overthinking the wording that we tend to use in life. But from a good place, not an annoying place. And I was talking about how I've found it like peculiar, how we all use the word dream, especially in the context when someone's like,

oh, tell me about your dream car, or tell me about your dream woman or your dream man. Right,

those are usually the context we hear it in.

And sure, it's harmless.

Maybe it's aspirational language.

Maybe it just helps you be imaginative.

But if you slow it down and you sit with that word for a little bit, dream, you notice

something about it.

Because a dream, by its very nature, belongs somewhere else. Like, you notice something about it because a dream by its very nature belongs somewhere

else, like it's in your sleep or it's in your imagination or it's in the category of the future

of someday. It is untethered from reality. The very word dream implies distance and implies

an unbelievable amount of ambition, uncertainty,

maybe even a lack of obligation because it's just a dream.

And I'm the language guy, right?

I talk about the language of optimism.

And language like that has consequences.

It does.
