I'm your host, Cody McBroom, and today with me is the one and only tailored coaching method,

0:20.7

chief science officer, Dr. Brandon Roberts. And I am very excited about this podcast short because

0:26.6

he is going to answer the question, are carbs harder to store as fat? And this is a good one because,

0:33.0

you know, fat is fat. So when we take in fat, it would make sense that the body could store it easier as fat. Carbs are glycogen. But then there's all this dogmatic

0:41.8

approaches with fat diets saying don't follow a high carb diet. You need to go keto, have an intermittent fasting, insulin sensitivity, lower carbs, so on and so forth. What really matters here? And what is the actual answer? Well Well, Brandon's going to answer that and he's

0:54.3

going to answer it with actual research and science. You can get the legit answer to the question,

0:59.1

are carbs harder to store as fat? And then you can make your best guess at what you should

1:05.7

be following when it comes to a macronutriotri ratio because I can tell you this. There is no

1:09.6

black and white answer to this question. I'll be completely frank with you because I'm not in the business of

1:14.2

bullshit in you. I'm going to keep it real. And the reality is that everybody is different,

1:17.7

but there are plenty of reasons why a low carb approach is not the answer. But is it because it's

1:23.4

harder to source fat? You will find out today today and you will find out only with a research

1:27.6

based answer from the one and only Dr. Brandon Roberts. So if you are returning listening

1:31.5

in the podcast first and foremost, thank you for listening once again and thank you for being

1:35.2

a subscriber of the podcast. Make sure you share this episode if you enjoy it and it helps you
