Summary

In this episode, I talk about how we grow and develop our lives especially when we find we are struggling and it feels like we are walking on water. What you are feeling today may not be directly linked to what you invested in today, prayed today or developed today. Everything is because of yesterday. The Bible is very clear that we will reap what we’ve sown, however, what we don’t often realize is that our harvest is directly linked to what we’ve sown long ago. Where are we sowing today in order to reap next year? How are you stewarding what God has given you so that you can double it by next year? What do you want to reap in 2019? It’s important to take ownership of the seeds we’ve been given to sow and steward them well because He wants to entrust more to us. Don’t be discouraged by the doing, step out in confidence and keep going because you are going to reap a great harvest in the future.

Yes, I'm back again and I have a lot to share with you.

But there are two specific things that we need to talk about right away because, well,

0:26.5

I only get a few minutes usually of your time.

0:30.0

First of all, summer. Can we say summer collectively as moms and dads and grandparents?

0:37.2

The kids are home. Dear Lord, it's such a unique season. It's like two months of complete chaos.

0:46.8

And, you know, I love school. I love the routine and the, I feel like I'm an incredible parent

0:54.0

for like eight hours a day. But when it starts becoming a 24 hour, it gets a really

0:59.2

chaotic and I start feeling a bit like the walls are closing in. And then I keep telling myself,

1:04.8

it's okay, this is good. You only have a little bit of time. And so I try to kind of give my,

1:09.8

my head space to just say, this is what real life looks like. And then when, you know, they get,

1:16.0

they come downstairs in their little GMEs and they snuggle up and we just sit and read or watch

1:22.1

something or talk. I'm like, oh, this is all worth it. I love it. So probably 90% of the time,

1:30.0

I'm really happy about it. The other 10%. Well, just, it just confirms that I'm not a homeschooling

1:35.7

mom. Although I wish I was because I do love the idea of it. So. And then secondly, I don't know if

1:42.4

you can tell, but I sound a little different. And that's because we invested in a podcast mic.

1:49.4

Yep. My podcasting has become an adult. It's time to invest. People used to ask me all the time.

1:55.6

So how did you, how do you record your podcast and what equipment did you invest in? And I said,

2:00.9

a $20 mic that we got sent to us. My husband actually found it. And I've been using that mic for,

2:08.3

well, almost two years. And just wanted to see if I would be consistent in podcasting. If there

2:15.2

was an actual way to really, you know, serve you well with podcasting and just see if it's stuck.

2:21.2

I'm a really good starter. I always said I wish they handed out awards for starting because I would
