And today, I want to talk about a true sign of emotional intelligence.

And I think this is a really important topic, but I also think it's really, really interesting, some of the research behind it.

I think you'll find it interesting as well.

And it goes like this.

A sign of emotional intelligence certainly is not tallied by how many mistakes you avoid or anything like that. It's not about how smart you move through life or how intelligent you are. It's how you

respond to the mistakes you make in a way that keeps the

moment when you make the mistakes small. You know how to make the moment small. And I think this

makes sense on the surface, but we typically get this wrong in practice. We tend to believe that,

you know, the right social

response even to making a mistake publicly, a social mistake, the best response is to be human

is to show that you're embarrassed, right?

You know, be embarrassed.
