And a couple of things inspired this podcast. So first and foremost, we were talking with our

podcast editor Samuel. He's been killing it. If you haven't been watching the videos on the podcast on video you were missing out but he's like hey you guys talk a lot about fitness and health a lot i want a little more happy i want a little more back and forth and i'm like oh that's good advice and that also inspired me to make more happiness based podcasts the other thing that inspired this was obviously being back at home it's cold it's it's freezing, it's miserable, everyone's angry talking about the weather. And it's crazy. We came over here to Florida. We did the long drive and just seeing how happy everyone is, how loose everyone is, how free of big crazy woolly coats everyone is. And even I saw a funny tweet and it said like the first 60 degree uh

fahrenheit day in new york city is going to hit like crack and i thought it was pretty funny

because even from where we're from when it's cold and miserable the first day it's nice

people become alive like the happiness is there everyone's so joyous and generous and smiling

and outside doing things just sitting in the fresh air and the sun

doing nothing just an absolute bliss so we want to give you some more ways no matter where you are

whether you're in the sun whether in the snow to be happier and just some things that have been

on our mind and the first one for me is having a gratitude practice and this doesn't need to be some

super intense woo-woo crazy thing. I think every single day you should at the very least acknowledge one thing you're grateful for. And that could literally be waking up in the morning. That could be your family's safety. Literally even for today, I said, I'm so thankful. I'm healthy and my family's healthy because it's horrible when you're not. Like even going back here to the dislocated shoulder, it's not even a big deal, but it suck. Like just the little things like I mentioned on the Monday episode, like putting my arm out the window, that was taken from me. So it's real easy to overlook these things and always be thinking about the big, crazy things you want in life but being able to
