In today's episode, I want to answer a question that has come in from a number of people around morning anxiety.

It's a very common issue, but it seems like there's been a number of emails that have been stacking up with this question.

And so I'll just read a little piece of one of our listeners' emails and then we'll just get to talking about morning anxiety

and some of the other things the listener brought up.

She says, I wanted to say how much I appreciate your podcast.

Mornings are my worst time of day, and I have to get ready for work, so I pick a podcast to listen to that helps me so much.

Today was especially hard.

Stressors at work, and I was worked up from issues the day before, invented that evening and woke up today in a total panic.

And they go on to say a few other things, but the other emails that have come in have mirrored this same issue around waking up after a bad day with morning anxiety

or just the routine morning anxiety of every morning, it's the same thing.

And you know you have all heard me say in the past that I had that for quite a while, and I would wake up and say, oh no, here we go again, which only fed the cycle.

I didn't know that then of course, but I'm here to tell you now that is how we keep it going.

We have to get into some other strategies to be able to kind of bear it at first, and then it begins to dissipate as we begin to calm down and clear out the roots of our anxiety.

So I think our listeners so much for writing in and asking about morning anxiety, and you know the stress at work and how to keep going.

You know that day when you're starting out your day from a leftover of the work issues the day before you didn't sleep well, you woke up with anxiety.
