God, I guess you know this, but you gave me an uncooperative, difficult group of people.

Just in case you hadn't noticed lately, God, this is not an easy crowd you hooked me up with.

I mean, if you take a step back, Moses is struggling. I don't feel

qualified. I'm not prepared. I don't have enough authority. I don't have enough influence. I don't have

the appropriate resources. I can use a little bit more encouragement. I'm in the deep end of the pool

and nobody knows you're helping me. Then I think about my responses to the Lord.

The title for the lesson is seasons of great change.

I'm of the opinion, personal opinion, that we are walking through one of those seasons.

I suspect a decade from now, our lives and our world will be dramatically different than it is today.

Those periods come occasionally in the unfolding stories of lives and nations in our world.

You know, God said in the book of Genesis, as long as the earth exist, we would have seed time and harvest, that the seasons would change.

So we're familiar with this concept.

We're kind of transitioning from spring to summer in Tennessee, and it's a time of tremendous change, tremendous growth. We've had a historic drought, so there hadn't been a lot of growth lately, but we've had a few days or rain. You can almost hear things growing. I mean, it's like whole new life, things that were dormant and are all of a sudden just vibrant and vital, and the insects are back, and the mosquitoes are circling,
