I'm Radys Lamb and this is the splendid table from APM.

Every year in the fall, we come to an episode that celebrates some of the most exciting cookbooks

of the season, and that usually means the most exciting cookbooks of the year, since most

publishers release their hit cookbooks in time for holiday gift-giving.

And of course, we can never cover all the books we're psyched about in one episode.

So I do want to mention a few very cool books that we won't get to today.

The wonderful Ukrainian British cookbook writer, Olya Hercules, has a new book called

Home Food.

The terrific Minneapolis chef, Gavin Kason, he started teaching cooking classes online

during the pandemic and it became so popular, he's self-publishing a terrific book on the

French-slash Midwest food he makes for his family.

That book is called Gavin Kason at home.

There's a very cool book of family Mexican recipes called Mama Sita, by Andrea Ponds,

which she originally also self-published, but to raise money for her family's immigration

lawyer.

And if I can tut my own horn a bit, if you're a fan of Chinese food or have any vegans

or vegetarians in your life, you have to get a gift for.
