And today, we're talking about a major figure of cinema.

That's my man, Ron Howard.

Ron Howard pops the clutch and tells the world to eat his dust. And we wanted to do

this episode because Ron Howard recently took over directing the hand solo film with only three

weeks of photography left. Because when I think of Chris Miller and Phil Lord, I think of Ron Howard.

When I think of a guy who could be a fixer and not rock the boat, it's Ron Howard.

So we're not going to talk too much about Ron Howard's acting career.

He was on Happy Days.

The Andy Griffith Show.

Because he even says it himself that all he wanted to be was a director.

He's a man that when you

read interviews with him or you listen to his commentary tracks, he's genuinely passionate about it.

As much as you could easily throw him in the hack category, we will. We will, yeah. He's, he, like,

loves making movies. He, like, even made short films before he made his first picture, Grand Theft Auto.

And the story behind that is actually pretty funny.

While he was on Happy Days, and I don't know, before or after American graffiti.

After American graffiti.

He starred in a film for Roger Corman's Exploitation Studio New World Pictures.

The movie was called Eat My Dust.
