So I've been interviewing people. I've been trying to interview lots of different kinds of people.

Hi, Don. Hi, everybody. Hi, Mark. How you all doing?

So let's start by telling them what you do. What is your title?

So my title is senior art director. I am on the magic creative team at Wizards of the Coast.

Okay, so I want to first start with how you got to where you were, and then we'll talk about what exactly it is you do.

So how, you actually have an interesting story.

How did you get to Wizards of the Coast?

Oh, my goodness.

I got to Wizards of the Coast because I was working at TSR, the creator of Dungeons and Dragons

in the 90s.

And it's no secret that the company was going bankrupt.

And fortunately, we had a knight in shining armor whose name is Peter Atkinson, who bought TSR and moved us all out. Well, not everybody, but, you know,

geez, about 60 of us. Yeah, I mean, so Peter, for those who don't know, Peter Atkinson,

one of the people who created Wizard of the Coast and this original CEO, was a huge Dungeons and Dragons fan.

Yes. And, right, he found out that basically the company that

made Dun Dragons was going under,

and so he bought it. I mean, wizards, he

organized Wizards to buy it.
