Welcome back to the podcast. My name is Joseph Clough and this is episode 745. Now into today's episode, we're

0:27.8

talking about overcoming the fear of asking for help. That's what we're really talking about,

0:35.5

because some things that I tend to talk about are the five

0:40.6

common fears that I can think of and let's see if I can. So the fear of failure, the fear of

0:47.7

not of the fear of rejection, the fear of not being enough, the fear of rejection the fear of not being enough the fear of

0:55.6

of success and the fifth one being the fear of asking for help now they all

1:02.8

interact with one another really like the fear of failure of fear of success the

1:07.5

fear of not being enough the fear of not asking for help, because they come

1:13.8

from the same energy and they come from the same space. And what I mean by that is that sometimes

1:21.6

if we think about asking for help, we may receive judgment by that person or those people who we're asking.

1:33.3

So we feel bad about it. And also on top of that, sometimes our issues are very, very personal and private.

1:42.3

1:46.8

blusher. My name's Joseph Clough and I don't feel worthy. My name's Joseph Clough and I've just

1:51.8

petrified about this situation. Because I had those thoughts in my mind of being petrified, of not

1:59.1

being enough, worthy, deserving or good enough the

2:01.7

fear of failure fear of rejection I had all of those fully present in my

2:06.2

neurology but to actually express that to someone is very very hard because if

2:13.5

we're expressing weakness right of not because we're having these negative thoughts,

2:19.1

let's just say, then it makes us feel vulnerable.

2:23.7

It makes us feel like what are they going to think of us?

2:27.7

Because do you know what?

2:28.7

Sometimes, sometimes people have this mask on. And on this mask is what they want to project out to the people that they're working with.
