Yeah, we got new iPads.

Yeah, we did.

That's fun.

We had it in our outline we wanted to talk about iPad like three or four months ago and we're just

waiting and we finally got it.

Yeah, yeah.

We kept going into an ocean and like bumping this down the schedule because it yeah it took a little while but

yeah we're recording this the day after the let loose event and lots of new iPads not all new iPads the mini still hanging out but that's

okay yeah well I guess before we get into it we we are the Mac Power Users, I'm David Spark, Stephen is with me here.

We've been doing the show for a long time if you've never listened before.

Today we're talking about the iPad, even though we're called the Mac power user, so figure that one out.

On more power users today, we're going to be talking about the M4 and our thoughts about it

and where it may show up next, which is kind of a fun source of speculation always fun but I guess let's put some context on iPad right because

you know we didn't get one last year. No, 2023 was a really, really quiet year for the iPad.

All we had was that USBC Apple pencil.

It's actually the first time since the iPad was introduced that they had no no new

hardware and you know I don't think that's the end of the world you know a lot of

products that Apple sells are sometimes on an 18 month cycle in fact

individual iPad models have been that way for a long time like you get a new iPad

...
