One agent, she was asked why on a particular story, she passed on it, and she said sometimes

she'll pass if she doesn't like a character's first name.

I was just blown away.

I just, I couldn't believe it.

This experience, for me, you know, I have way too many

stories to tell, and I want to be in charge of my own destiny, and I knew that traditional

publishing at this time of my life wasn't going to be the way to get my stories out. So I knew from

there, I got to find another way to get my stories out into the world. And that's what I did.

Lawrence the Lighthouse.

Most recently, Angela has launched Story Spectacular, a children's story podcast.
