Hello again, everybody. It is Tuesday. We are back for another full week of madness and Paul and I've done that thing again.

I arrived at his house like two hours ago. It happens and we looked up and went.

We really ought to podcast and record some of what we're talking about because there has been news.

You may have noticed yesterday Monday was Corvette 06 day 5.5 liter LT6 engine.

The highest horsepower naturally aspirated V8 in any production car, according to Chevrolet,

8600 RPM red line, 670 horsepower, and 460 pound feet of torque at 6300 RPM.

Interesting realities there. It's a lot.

It's a lot and lots of crazy stats there, flat plane crank.

Interesting things when you look at it versus the base C8.

Now, the base C8, by the way, has 475 horsepower.

And 470 pound feet, so it's got a little bit more torque because it's a traditional push rod V8

instead of this, there's a flat plane crank.

Yes.

The 06 is putting down 0 to 60 numbers in like the two and a half second range,

but the standard C8 just breaks three.

I don't want to undermine the fact that the 06 is jaw dropping because it is.

Right.

But I feel like the base C8 is not a radio flyer.
