fascinating conversation with a friend of mine, a new friend, Shannon Watts, is her name.

So you might know her because she is the founder of an organization called Mom's Demand Action,

the nation's largest grassroots group fighting against gun violence.

So Shannon is known as the summoner of women's audacity.

She spent more than a decade leading one of the words largest field experiments from mobilizing women.

She's been named one of Times 100 most influential people, a Forbes 50 over 50 changemaker,

and a global woman of the year.

And this, you know, for her, it started back in Sandy Hook mass shooting the day after.

She was like, I just cannot deal with this.

And she just created what, you know, Mothers Against Drunk Drivers did to stop the alcohol lobby in the 80s, this is what she decided to do about the gun

lobby in 2012 is when she started.

So she's done incredible work there.

And then she actually, how I met her, was she was organizing women to get involved with um with the presidential

race and all that so that that was actually how I saw her she created the biggest Zoom gathering

in history mobilizing over 200,000 voters raising over 11 million dollars. So I really just she's, has been someone in my life who's really motivated me to action.

And she's written this amazing book called Fired Up, How to Turn Your Spark into a Flame

and Come Alive Again at any age.
