I want to be completely enraptured with the purposes of God in the earth.

I want them to matter more than to me than all the other things around me.

Not easy, but I have discovered something if you don't have the intent, it's highly improbable.

It will ever happen. And absent the intent, you don't have the intent, it's highly improbable it will ever happen.

And absent the intent, I don't imagine you have an opportunity. So what I want to ask you to

begin to consider is what would it look like to change the intent of my life? What do you intend

for the new year?

Advent is the season in the Christian calendar,

the first season of the Christian calendar,

begins our year.

And it's celebrated the four Sundays

that precede Christmas Day.

So we're in the second week of Advent,

which is traditionally celebrated

a focus upon peace and preparation.

If you're lighting an Advent wreath, oftentimes of the second week is the Bethlehem candle.

It's signifying the journey that Mary and Joseph made to Bethlehem.
