0:56.6	Thank you for supporting me. And today, a mindset that says be disagreeable. Yeah, be disagreeable.
1:05.2	The opposite of being agreeable. Be the person who speaks about the things that don't quite sit right with you. Be the person
1:13.2	who doesn't ignore confusion. Be the person who speaks to it and then creates or finds clarity.
1:19.8	Be the person who doesn't exist just to be agreeable. And I will say shout out to my friend,
1:24.6	Jillian Turecki, who's amazing. She wrote something on Instagram from her perspective as a woman the other day on this topic and it really
1:31.8	sparked this idea for me she wrote one of the greatest lies women are taught is
1:37.7	that love is something we earn through being agreeable that if we're sweet enough
1:41.4	and low maintenance enough we will be rewarded with emotional safety.
1:45.6	Really powerful thought. And of course, I can't speak to the mindset of women. I am a man.
1:51.0	But I do see this kind of behavior from women frequently in my work. I see it. I also see men doing it.
1:58.2	But it certainly seems that women have been taught this idea of being
2:02.2	agreeable as a means of then being rewarded with what you deserve. And then unfortunately, I also
2:08.3	see many men who expect this agreeability from women. But the reality is, of course, men,
2:16.6	however you identify, you can reward yourself with the things
2:21.2	you want in life. You can receive the things you want in life by doing the opposite of this,
2:26.3	by being disagreeable. Be disagreeable. And I'll show you why, I'll show you what this means,
